A STEELHEADER’S DREAM COME TRUE

Biggest Steelhead of the season:

This years winner for a free trip for the biggest Steelhead was won by Dr. Steve Chittenden of Tacoma with a 20 lb plus. It was a somewhat snowy day. That's right…snowy! It's beautiful on the river when it snows.  Changes the feeling of everything.  The color of the water, the crisp smell in the air. Fresh and clean!

The side of the river banks seems to be more detailed.  It's like you're looking at a Rockwell painting.

Dr. Steve was using a jig and bobber.  He placed it in the right spot along a log that is in somewhat froggie water.  When the bobber reached the end of the log it disappeared! It was like a submarine making a crash dive.
Fish On! His partner, Dr. Murray Smith, could only look on "biting at the bit" wishing it was him.

That's how my season ended.  When the rains came it was over!  Out of about 188 trips possible I only made 8!
It was one of the wettest seasons ever.

For me and my clients our day will come again!

Way to go Dr Steve for another memory!

The memories I have with Dr. Steve and Dr. Murray are some to be told anytime as we have fished together for years!
