This years winner for a free trip for the biggest Steelhead was won by Dr. Steve Chittenden of Tacoma with a 20 lb plus. It was a somewhat snowy day. That's right…snowy! It's beautiful on the river when it snows.  Changes the feeling of everything.  The color of the water, the crisp smell in the air. Fresh and clean!

We hit the water around 6:30am and what transpired from there was one of the greatest days of Lake fishing I have ever had.

We were the only boat in the water. The sun was starting to come out. Within 10 minutes of trolling I hooked my first trout.

We traveled the whole lake and found our spot at the point and continued to hammer it untell around 3pm.

It was amazing watching the weather patterns change and the water go from calm to rough to calm again.

I also caught the coveted Dolly Vardon. I was at peace.
